Become a Member of the Staunton Clayground Community

We offer a friendly, creative community, a space where hobbyist potters work and grow, develop skills independently, and share ideas and knowledge with fellow creators. Everything but the clay is included in your membership fee. Enjoy discounts on our regular classes, take advantage of 1st Friday “Bring a Friend” days, and take part in a variety of member-exclusive events, member pottery sales, and member-driven charitable activities.

Members enjoy access to the pottery studio from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., 7 days a week. Our member-reserved room and wheels mean that there is space to work even when classes are in session. Membership includes bisque and glaze firings, use of studio equipment, tools, glazes and numerous other materials, a dedicated personal space for storage of works in progress and personal tools, and at least one bisque firing and one glaze firing per week. We keep a large variety of different clay bodies in stock for purchase.

2026 Individual membership fee: $85 per month. Family Memberships (up to three persons) $150 per month.
