Birthdays and Showers and Paint-and-Sips…Oh My!

We offer two types of parties–Handbuilding (create a unique piece from wet clay) or Paint-Your-Own-Pottery. These parties are held in a private space with a separate entrance from our pottery studio.

Handbuilding

As a more creative and adventurous option, you choose from simple projects like animal sculptures and jewelry trays (for kids), or more elaborate projects like planters, vases and mugs (for teens and adults). Participants select a glaze color to be applied by teachers after the first firing, and pieces are ready for pick-up after the second firing a week or two later. Kids’ 2 hour parties start at $200 for 4 participants and increase by $25 per child. Teens and adults 2.5 hour parties start at $250 for 4 participants and increase by $30 per guest. Limit 10 participants.

Paint-Your-Own-Pottery

Private group PYOP events have a base cost of $50 for two hours, with cost of pottery added based on pieces selected. Hosts can either allow guests to pick pieces of varying costs and then pay at the end, or hosts can lock in an advance price by offering a selection of similar sized pieces. These per-person costs range from $15 to $35. Limit 16 participants.

Refreshments

We have a separate, attached room for enjoying snacks, cakes and drinks etc. Birthday plates, napkins, forks and cake knife are provided. Hosts provide their own food and drinks. We have a refrigerator and microwave for your convenience. Beer and Wine allowed if all participants are over 21.

Paint-and-Sip

Sometimes a lively party calls for lively libations. Feel free to bring and consume your own beverages while working on your masterpieces, as long as all participants are over 21 years of age.
