Sunday Afternoons, November 15 and 29, 12:00 - 2:00 pm
In this class, students will be challenged to make a festive candelabra, assembled from wheel-thrown pieces—mostly thrown off the hump. The resulting candelabra will be grand enough to serve as the centerpiece at a banquet. The teacher will demonstrate how to build up the height by adding various pieces together. The class will embellish their designs with the elegant lines of gracefully positioned handles as a decorative feature. There will be a decent amount of handbuilding to assemble the piece and add finishing flourishes. This is an intermediate level class.

2-week class, 4 hours total. Maximum 6 students (ages 11+)
