This needle felting class will teach you the basics of how to construct a small gnome figure, complete with a pointy hat and flowing beard. Needle felted sculptures make awesome Christmas tree decorations because they are surprisingly light, shatterproof, and durable. In fact, they make good cat toys too. (The roving is completely non-toxic and lightly smells of sheep.) By the end of this class students will not only have a finished figure to take home but they will also gain the confidence and skills to make any other needle felted sculptures on their own. Roving, foam mats, and felting needles will be provided. This is a beginner level class. No experience necessary.
