Introduction to Handbuilding - Tuesday Evenings Starting January 6
Tuesday Evenings, January 6 - February 10, 6:00 - 8:00 pm
Come learn the essentials of handbuilding and take home an armful fo exquisite functional pieces. In this class, you will learn how to use slump and drape molds, a slab roller, and a clay extruder for coil building, as well as an array of textures and stamps. You will learn how to work with soft and hard slabs, make pinch pots, use coils—and so much more. Projects include plates and bowls, a vase, a utensil caddy, and an animal sculpture. (All pieces made will be food, oven, and dishwasher safe). Come make some art with us, all while enjoying the company of new friends. No experience necessary.
